There
is a museum here in the San Francisco Bay Area, it is called
'Musee
Mecanique' it is a collection of antique, coin-operated
slot machines, and has been an eerie fascination, and source
of inspiration for artists all around the world. What particularly
drew my attention was the diorama of the mechanical carnival
setting, and as thus provided the inspiration for 'Carnival
of Lost Souls'.
